Eddie Victor ALEXANDER, 56 died July 14 in Indianapolis. He was a former resident of Portland Mills and brother of Durward P. Alexander.

Private rites for Eddie Victor Alexander, age 56, assistant supervisor in the US Bureau of Animal Industry will be held at 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the home, 715 E. 57th Street. Members of the Masonic Lodge will have charge of the burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Alexander, who died Wednesday in his home after an illness of five weeks was born in Greencastle in 1881 and had been a resident of Indianapolis nearly all his life. He was widely known as a tenor vocalist in the large Indianapolis churches. – kbz
